WORKING WITH US WILL HELP YOU TO GET RESULTS

Below are some core values which we hope you will consider when looking for help

BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP

We want to work with you for the long term. Therefore we will take the time to build a relationship with you. We will take the time to understand your business, the uniqueness of your land and your goals.

We understand that we we need to earn your trust.

Communication is key in building the relationship. We need to know your challenges, when you are carrying out activity such as drilling and crop rotation. And you need to know who is on your land, where and when we will shoot. Plus what the result of the day has been and any observations made while we were there.

No one knows your land and business like you do but with some observations that we can provide we hope that this will provide some value to you, perhaps saving you time and money.

We treat our permissions with the same respect and value, as we do the relationships that we have in our day job professional lives.

RESPECT

We absolutely respect the people that we shoot for and the land that we shoot over.

We always clear up behind ourselves, no birds or equipment is left on the ground. We account for everything.

RELIABILITY

It is not about only turning up for 'big bags'. It is about providing cover for your crops, and in turn we get to enjoy being out in the countryside. So we are happy to provide cover on the quieter days.

We are quite flexible with when we can arrive on site. And with a day or so of notice we can be there to provide cover.

We can often get there same day.

Therefore you can be sure of regular coverage.

EFFICIENCY

Reconnaissance, discussing with you, weather conditions, other nearby shooting.

These are all factors that need to be considered to ensure a successful day. Outside of this, us just being present will ensure the pests think twice before decimating your crops.

We will work with you on timings for drilling and for harvest, and will ask you on recent sightings.

COMPLIMENT YOUR EXISTING STRATEGY

Bangers, scarers, your existing shooting teams.... and finally a bit of hope!

There is no single answer to crop protection from pigeons or corvids. We are able to provide a reliable service to compliment your existing approach. We will happily work with existing teams to maximise the effect on local populations.

WE CARE ABOUT THE COUNTRYSIDE

We adhere to the BASC Wood pigeon Code of practice. We also acknowledge the terms of The Open General Licence and Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981.

We have a keen interest in the countryside and help out on local shoots. Where we provide vermin control, observe poaching and report back.

CERTIFIED & CREDIBLE

As you would expect we hold full Shotgun Certificates. We are members of BASC and as a result are fully insured.

We work with the farmer to draw up an agreement which highlights:

  • the permission

  • what we are there to do (species in question)

  • Identify the farmers typical crop rotation. This enables us to jointly plan pigeon shooting activity

  • the boundaries in which we will operate. We suggest walking the land with you and work with your own maps or consult with you via Google Maps

We will always report back to the farmer on  how the day went. We will include details of our observations, the tactics employed and the results produced.

We work with full time pest control companies as additional guns. We have existing permissions with references are available. Please discuss with us if you would like to know more.

NOTHING GOES TO WASTE

We dispose of our shot quarry responsibly. Everything that we shoot ends up in the pot via local game dealers.

However nothing would please us more than to provide some fresh pigeon to our farmer to enjoy at the table. We always offer this at the end of a days shooting.
